Our Story

The legacy of Saint John Paul II is immense - he dedicated his life to building a civilization of love and fostering a community of peace. During his visit to Nicaragua in 1983, he delivered a powerful message that still resonates today: "The first one that wants peace is the church." These words continue to inspire and challenge us to this day.

In 2005, a man named Sidney Pratt had a dream that would mark the beginning of the construction of the Sanctuary. This dream was a testament to the enduring impact of Saint John Paul II's vision of peace and love, and serves as a call to action for all of us to continue working towards building a better world. Let us honor the legacy of Saint John Paul II
